Post-Cruise Reality: 238 lbs, a Broken Ankle, and a Hard Truth
A candid snapshot from a brutal stretch: post-cruise, injured, immobile, and heavier than expected. This is what that moment taught me about context, setbacks, and staying honest about the process.
I captured my post-cruise photo at 238 lbs right after that trip. And to be fair, that was also with a broken ankle, first in a boot and then in a brace.
I was on a cruise, eating garbage food basically 24/7, and I couldn't walk much at all. I had to take the elevator everywhere-which I hate doing.
Thankfully, I was there with family and close friends, and that made a huge difference. Without them, that stretch would have been a lot harder to get through.
