The Honest Truth About My 242 to 188 lb Transformation

I went from 242 pounds to 188 pounds in six months. But I've never done it naturally - not in high school, not in 2023, not once. Here's exactly what I used, why I'm transparent about it, and whether you should try to replicate this.

The Comment That Started This Video

Someone on YouTube commented: "Hey, I'm going to buy the original Speediance, and when I get a physique that looks like yours, I'm going to buy the Gym Monster 2."

That comment bugged me. Not because of the compliment - because they had no idea what it actually took to get here. And I realized: I've never been fully transparent about my transformations. Every single one - including this one - involved prescription drugs.

So here's the truth. All of it.

My History With Weight Loss Drugs

I was a morbidly obese kid. Fat in elementary school, fatter by senior year of high school. That first transformation? I used fenfluramine - back when it was over-the-counter. Ordered it off the internet, dropped the weight, looked decent.

I thought that transformation was natural. I was running, right? That was the cause.

It wasn't. The drug was the cause. I just didn't realize it.

Fast forward to 2023. I'm at 242 pounds. I try to lose weight the "natural" way - running, calorie deficit, all of it. I fail. Every single time. I'd go out running, get hungry, eat more than I burned, and gain weight.

July 2023: I've lost 5 pounds total in six months. At 237 pounds, I'm going nowhere.

That's when I got serious.

The Stack (What I Actually Used)

I found a doctor who specializes in this. Here's exactly what was in my protocol:

TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) - I'd been on TRT for years due to low testosterone from a broken testicle (work accident, not jiu-jitsu). The change: going from once-weekly injections to subcutaneous injections three times per week. This stabilized my serum levels and made a huge difference in how I felt.

Tirzepatide (Tzepide) - This is the GLP-1 agonist. I specifically requested this over semaglutide because the data showed lower instances of gastric issues. One injection per week. This was the hunger suppressor that made 800-1200 calories per day actually doable.

Anavar - This is an oral anabolic steroid. Yes, controversial. Yes, prescribed. The goal was to lose 54 pounds in six months WITHOUT losing muscle. That math doesn't work with just a GLP-1 - I'd have shredded muscle tissue. The Anavar kept my lean mass intact.

Cialis - Normally for erectile dysfunction. But my doctor also prescribed it because it's a vasodilator. More blood flow = better pumps = more motivation in the gym. I know that sounds like an excuse, but honestly? It was a game-changer. Highest safety profile of anything on this list.

The Timeline (Exact Dates)

Here's exactly what happened:

  • August 4, 2023: 230 lbs
  • September 7, 2023: 220 lbs
  • October 2023: 213 lbs
  • November 2023: 202 lbs
  • December 2023: 200 lbs
  • By March 2024: 188 lbs

54 pounds in roughly six months. From 242 to 188.

The November to December slowdown? That was Thanksgiving. Holiday weight loss is hard.

The Training (30,000 to 50,000 Pounds Per Day)

People ask what workouts I did during this period. The answer: the same type of volume I do now, just with a calorie deficit on top.

Minimum 30,000 pounds per day. Some days 50,000. Almost every day.

Here's the crazy part: I have insomnia when my calories drop. So what did I do with 3-5 hours of awake time every night? I'd go downstairs to my treadmill, play video games, and walk. I'd hit 15,000-20,000 steps on those nights.

My minimum was 10,000 steps per day. Most days I got way more than that.

The Calories (800-1200 Per Day, 6 Days Per Week)

This is the part most people can't fathom. Six days a week: 800-1200 calories. Every day.

One cheat day per week. Whatever I wanted. However many calories. No counting. The only rule: it had to be at least seven days since the last cheat day.

Was it hard? Not with the GLP-1. The hunger suppression was real. But the discipline still mattered. Every meal was logged. Everything was calculated.

Would I recommend this to someone without a GLP-1? No. I don't think it's possible without one. The hunger would be unbearable.

What Nobody Tells You

Could you do this without the drugs? Maybe. But at 800-1200 calories per day, your hunger would be constant. Your willpower would need to be superhuman. The GLP-1 isn't cheating - it's a tool that makes the math work.
