I Owe Greg Doucette an Apology
Description
Today I lift on the Speediance/Gym Monster setup while unpacking a few fitness-tech and fitness-influencer topics: a public correction about how I heard Greg Doucette's Turkesterone/Anavar comments, the Speediance Pilates launch and recurring UX bugs, FitHub Titan resistance claims and confusing mar

Hello and welcome back to Tell Me Fitness Tech. I figured today I would do a little bit of lifting on the machine and a little bit of a discussion around some things. One of them I wanted to actually shoot this video since I came back from the Arnold Classic and I just had a whole bunch of other topics come up that became more important than this. But I did think it was important to highlight and talk about. So I went to the Arnold Classic this year. It was awesome. I mean this is my second year going. Last year I went to the strongman event. This year I was at the bodybuilding event. Because of the new prizes that were more money than had ever been given away before one of these things. So it was just pretty cool to see. But regardless it's just a really awesome event that's in Columbus, Ohio. Last year it was freezing cold. This year it was actually beautiful. So the weather was a lot nicer. And so yeah yeah it was just a really fun event. But while I was there I actually got to see Greg Doucette. And I actually wanted to apologize to him. So during during my time I I so I had I had misremembered something he said and I think this is actually a pretty important thing to talk about. And just something that wasn't as important as talking about these devices specifically to me. But it's something that I do want to highlight. These fitness influencers are really really interesting and someone like Greg especially. I listened to his content early on. To be honest with you he he had a lot of information kind of Derek More Plates More Dates style information which is like skewing towards uh you know while he skewed towards diet and and anabolics back then. You know what I mean? So his his content was like 50% diet related and 50% anabolics related. So the More Plates More Dates stuff is like purely anabolics and harm reduction and TRT and that kind of stuff. Um and Greg would do that kind of content but he also did a lot of diet content. And that's where I learned kind of the diet framework that I have now or at least pieces of it. Where uh what I eat matters, right? But more importantly, the amount of calories I'm taking in matters most to whether I'm losing or gaining weight. And also uh he has a huge emphasis on protein in everything that he in everything that [clears throat] he he makes. And and I know that seems simple, right? Or it seems dumb. Like of course you need more protein, but he's putting protein in every single thing that he was making. So he had this anabolic cookbook and he had all of these uh recipes that he had done. That's where his start was. It wasn't in this like cringe content that he makes now where he's like insulting people and going back and forth on the internet because that gets a lot of views. Uh but realize his start was in some pretty educational stuff. I mean, especially if you look at the original cookbook and uh the original content from back then. So I met him, but I think I come off as rude in person. Uh especially with a question I asked him specifically because I've been dying to ask him this question well since I saw him walk cuz he walked in late and he he came in not the front, but like it was pretty noticeable when Greg Doucette showed up. You know what I mean? Cuz like he's he's First of all, he's really short. >> [laughter] >> And he's ripped, right? So he's like mhm he's pretty massive in in size, you know what I mean? And like for his height, right? So he's still got an incredible physique uh even after all these years of not competing. Um but regardless, like it was noticed when he showed up with his girlfriend, right? Like it was not it was a noticeable event. Him showing up to the show was as much part of the show as the show itself, believe it or not. And then everyone wanted to talk to him afterwards and I always hang out out after these events. You know what I mean? And kind of just stick around with a buddy of mine and and cuz there's a few people that we want to talk to. And uh and at that point in time, like he was still there you know and I felt bad cuz he was on his way out and so I'm asking him this kind of rude question on his way out because what I had remembered from his content is him talking about Anavar and comparing it to his Turkesterone that he sells. By the way he used to be very anti-supplements and now he sells supplements so just realize like people change their minds based upon the amount of money they can make. You know he has a whole collection of cars now and his supplement company has a lot to do with that. Right not the only thing to do with it but like YouTube revenue and of itself I'm sure is killing it for him but in general like the supplement company is you know launched him into the stratosphere more power to him but what I thought he said was that his Turkesterone is analogous to 20 mg of Anavar and if you go back through my videos remember when I did that original weight loss I was prescribed Anavar right and I was taking about 20 25 mg a day. So I I I don't think I listed the exact dosages somewhere between 10 and 25 depending on where I was at because I was I was given well still have it cuz I didn't use it all but I was given 50 mg Anavar and I was cutting them into fours and halves right so like somewhere you know what I mean it doesn't it doesn't math evenly right and also you lose some whenever you're cutting them but obviously you're not going to take the full dose and that's way too much for me but regardless I thought he had said that his his Turkesterone but he never gave a dose right like I have a dose in milligrams of how many milligrams and so I wanted to ask him in person like hey what is this equivalent dose and I don't like the effects of Anavar personally like I didn't like it I I like yes you'll be stronger Yeah, like it helped me with the weight loss, but like the reason why I have like the reason why I didn't use it all is because I don't don't like the way I feel when I'm taking it. You know what I mean? I prefer just strict TRT. Um like I don't prefer to have that extra anabolism from that compound. I just feel kind of like drier. I don't know how to explain it, but I don't feel like achier, I guess is the way to explain it. Um so I much didn't prefer it, but you know, it definitely helps. Like, there's no question it helps with the being able to lose the weight and maintain your strength, right? Uh to be, you know, because what it's doing is it's putting you above traditional TRT. And by the way, TRT docs will do this. Like, it's not uncommon if you go to a cash-paid TRT doc, they will put you on that stack. And usually they add deca to it, but they didn't with me. Um probably cuz because I was trying to lose weight specifically and I had a timeline and a goal. You add something that adds any kind of bloat, it's going to screw up my goal, right? So, they're they're tuning their dosing and para- parameters to your goals, but long story short, I thought he'd said this. And I had a 5-hour drive back, and so I went through all of his videos and I was using AI to kind of go through these videos and um and then to try to figure out exactly what he did say. And finally, I ended up figuring it out, and what he had said was that he was a hyper responder. So, I finally found the video, by the way. Finding his old videos is a nightmare, even if you're using AI to analyze every Like, I actually had to have him go through and analyze his videos and find the specific reference, and I finally found it. It's like a needle in a haystack to actually find data. And um and anyways the uh yeah, so he found he found it and what he had actually said in there was that he's a hyper responder to Anavar and 20 mg would cause him to blow up. So, he's a hyper responder to Turkesterone in the same way. Right? He didn't he didn't actually say that he didn't actually give an analog to the two combined. But, what it does in your mind, by the way, is it your mind collides them into one thing. Okay, 20 mg of Anavar is equivalent to this Turkesterone. No, no, no, that's not what he's saying. Right? And and you have to be very careful with the way these influencers say things because when I originally heard that, that is what I heard, right? So, I didn't but I heard him wrong, right? I had to watch it twice whenever I was whenever I was in the car. I literally had to watch this video twice to figure out, okay, no, what he's actually saying is I'm a hyper responder to this drug. So, that means I'm a hyper responder to this drug also, which may have some merit, may not have some merit, that's not the kind of science that I know about, especially like the pharmacokinetics of those two drugs. It's just not who I am or what I am. So, I I wasn't, you know, specifically you know, I I just didn't hear him wrong. And I wanted to apologize publicly uh for hearing him wrong. You know what I mean? Because I was kind of rude to him, Matthew Arnold. So, I wanted to publicly apologize because I have the ability to do it here. Uh and I want people to be cautious, by the way, whenever they listen to these influencers. Like really parse their words carefully because someone like Greg Doucette, especially of all of the influencers, I would say he's the most, believe it or not, he's the most cautious with saying ridiculous things. And I saw him write it where he said all of this ridiculous stuff. right? And And then you go to find the source material for it, and none of it's true. So, like people on Reddit are saying that he said all these things, and I literally had my AI try to find them, and none of it has been like either he's deleted the tweets where he said it, or you know what I mean, but there's no screenshots anywhere of the stuff that people are claiming he said. So, you know, just be very cautious with "Hey, I misheard this." Especially with him in particular, "I misheard what he said." And that's not what he said. Now, there are other guys like, you know, Mike Israetel where they say ridiculous stuff. You know, so like there are like he's bigger and stronger than Mike Mentzer, you know what I mean, like that that's a straight-up comment from Mike Israetel, which is just absolutely insane to say. Uh you know what I mean, it's like this guy was one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. And uh you know, so there are there are fitness influencers that are easy to dunk on for what they're saying, but I would say in general, you know, I would say Greg does a better job of uh of not being like that. And what I wanted to do today is is do a little bit of one of my workouts. So, they just changed the Speediance dashboard, and I hadn't even looked at it yet. So, I've been a little bit under the weather, so I haven't been doing the kind of lifts I normally do. So, this is Okay, so my customs are done. Everything I I actually feel snappier. >> [laughter] >> The scrolling's still kind of wonky, like it always has been, but you click here, you click start. And um Oh, sorry, I left the sound on. So, for once, I was testing something out, and I had the sound on. Uh the Pilates stuff. So, the internet is abuzz, by the way, with the Pilates feature, and for for multiple reasons. Uh one on Amazon and on Sorry, I got to pull it down here. Turn the voice guidance off. Stop that. Voice guidance off. But yeah, the the internet's above a buzz with this Pilates feature because it's advertised as being like it's advertised on their website and on Amazon that this Pilates is in the Gym Monster 1. Right? Meanwhile, it it's not only not available for the Gym Monster 1, but even more importantly, you can't buy the thing anywhere. So, so I have Sorry, I'm turning the volume off of my Mac. So, I have uh So, I have the Gym Monster 1 downstairs, but I have the Gym Monster 2S up here that would be able to do the Pilates, but you can't even buy the Pilates kits. So, it it's one of those things where um it it is uh So, that still did not turn off the audio wherever that's coming from. But, um yeah, I I have the you know, I have the capability to do the Pilates, and I'd I'd show it to you, and I'd actually buy the kit, but I actually can't buy the kit, which is even more funny. Like it's not it's not available right now. So, you know, it's and more importantly, they're advertising it on their website, and they're advertising it, you know, on Amazon, and I'm like, that's you know, really questionable when they haven't I have a feeling what's actually going to happen is they are going to release Pilates on the original Gym Monster. But even more insulting is you get a giant ad for the Pilates thing when you launch the Gym Monster. Like that's what I got That's what I was I had turned the sound on for is actually hear that ad. And that's what it was, it was basically an ad for the Pilates stuff. In the new version of the the software, that's what you get. And it's like, I can't even buy this. Like, you're advertising something that you uh you can't buy. By the way, that they broke the UX again. So, this is like every release like they have inconsistencies with the UX. It's It's surprising that these things make it through almost every time, you know? It's it's pretty wild to think. So, L2 and R2. So, it's a pretty wild and to see that like these UX bugs come up pretty much every time. You know, they'll fix it, so it'll be fixed in the next release, and then they'll change the UX slightly, and it'll be broken again. But yeah, I would say the Gym Monster 2 overall, uh speaking of that, I've actually been looking at the FitHub Titan. Um the FitHub Titan, and I I finally So, what's funny is I did reach out to them directly to get a demo of it like what I did with the Aggi. And unfortunately, they uh Uh so, they did not respond back to me. But what's even more interesting is I I kind of went back and forth with them on Facebook because um you know what I mean? One of the things is so, some some places like it's all over the board with this FitHub Titan Max. So, the FitHub Titan Max, the reason why I was interested in it is it has supposedly 264 lb of resistance, which gives it more resistance than this by a slight amount. Not by enough of amount to actually switch to it, but by enough of amount to really think about it as a device, but you know, what makes it really, really odd is they're reusing ads on Facebook from before their new model. Oh, so everything is really weird with this device. I'll be honest with you. I've never seen a device that is so odd in terms of uh the advertising, the marketing around it. And the implementation of it. And I'll explain that. So, when Speediance came out with the two and the two S and the original, their marketing was so around the the original and the two was clear and concise. You knew exactly what you were getting. You knew what each model was. With the two S, it was way more confusing to be honest with you. Whenever they released the two S, it was the most confusing release because they put it as a version of the two, which is really, really weird, you know? And it's just an odd kind of you know, an odd marketing tactic to to do it that way, but at least when you clicked on it, you knew the difference between the two. But, this new Feel Hub Titan um Feel Hub Titan Mirror, which by the way, the name of it also in some of the ads is named one way and some of the ads is named another way. And when you click on any of the ads, you get the same landing page on Feel Hub's page, which uh but in the different ads, they have different weight resistances. Like there's one where it says 220, there's one where it says 264. Um there's ones where it shows the bench, there's ones where it doesn't show a bench. On Amazon, it doesn't show a bench, but it shows the rowing uh package, which is not included. So, like if you buy it, it's not a big deal. It's it's only 200 bucks out there rowing package. That's the other thing. Everything is the base price of the machine is so much more expensive than anything but the 2S, but the rowing package and all the addeds are actually way cheaper. And I found out like you can't Here's a really weird one. The So, I finally found out from them because they claim to have more moves than than these other devices, especially the Aiki, right? So, they claim to have more moves, right? And the reason why this thing's kind of cool is because it has the tonal style arms. It also has the clips here and here on the new model. Um and that's the other thing. I'm trying to figure out like what has changed from the original models to the new model. And the answer is a lot. But the worst part about it is the answer is a lot has changed. They're still using the old model ads. They're still old model like There's clearly still old model stuff on their website. Like when you click on the thing, you can clearly see some of the the screenshots of the old model, like of them working out. And like And And are you getting the new model or are you getting the old model, right? Because you know, it's not clearly defined or clearly explained. There isn't two pathways with two different prices of two different models. That's not a thing on their website. And also like the adjustable bench, I finally found out A, they offer an adjustable bench. That's how they get to that number of movements because by the way in all of their screenshots, they don't show an adjustable bench. There isn't a single picture of someone working out with an adjustable bench on their site or in their ads. And in fact, most of their ads, they don't show a bench at all. Um and I don't know the reason for that. But this Fit Hub Titan is uh But I finally got them to come back to me and they're like, "Oh yeah, the adjustable bench is 90 bucks." Or as an add-on to the price of it, which is in in in significant in my opinion. You know what I mean? In fact, their rower is only 200 bucks. Their um their bench is only 90 bucks. And they reached out to me directly with this information uh because they wanted me to purchase it right away. And I'm gun-shy about buying another device. But I will especially device where the thing that I wanted to ask them directly and I wanted to have that direct communication with them is specifically around you notice all of these lifts I'm not setting I didn't set any weights ahead of time. And in fact, I don't ever set the weights. So, one of the big things I don't ever do is set the weights. Um they are automatically set for me. So, you know, I don't ever actually think about setting the weights. They're automatically set for me and and I use those dynamic weight modes to make that happen. And I'm one of the few users on Speediance who does that. Right? It's just not common. Most people turn that off. And there's a lot of reasons to turn it off. It's confusing. Um I agree with There's another pretty famous and I apologize I'm blanking on his name uh Speedy Home Games. Speedy Home Games is the name of his channel. He has great content, by the way. Uh and whenever I was deciding on buying one of these uh and whenever I first purchased it, I actually looked at his content to to kind of make that decision. So, Speedy Home Games actually, you know, was talking to me directly about one of the users who was complaining around these custom modes. And I'll go into that quickly. I'll turn turn off. Uh Let me do at least one more lift and then I'll turn this off and I'll I'll show you what I was talking about. But uh he he was talking back and forth with with me and he he he'd even forgotten that it has these capabilities because he's either doing one of two things and and I'll show you those two things after after I complete this one lift. So, when I do the standing alternating chest press because it is one of my favorite lifts. So, a lot of these chest moves are not really my favorite moves, but this is actually one of my favorites. So, L3. So, what I'm doing now by the way, and this is a tedious process, is because this isn't a standard workout I do. I don't remember where any of the arm positions are. And so, you have you know, this is this is one of the complaints about this thing and it's kind of one of the reasons to buy well, if it has that feature that the Tonal had, right? You don't know until you get it home. That's the problem. There isn't enough There isn't enough data on this thing to know if it has that feature. And what I'm talking about is when you move the Tonal's arms, it tells you whether the arms in the right position or not, right? Which they could actually do with this device in a in a weird way and they just didn't, you know? And so, now I have to click in and click, you know, to try to figure out exactly which L L and R position it is. It It's not a deal breaker, but it's definitely something that should have been tackled by now, especially because Tonal has had that for oh, jeez, since the day I got the thing, right? To tell you where the position should be on the screen that you're in. And honestly, there's a really easy way to do that, which someone suggested before they came out with this version three new software, right? So, they came out with this new UX and they didn't fix like basic stuff, right? Which is So, now it's it's L3 R3 on this one, too, but it's not a We'll do this one lift, also, and this will this will show you why I have this cage around it. So, the cage actually dual dual purposes for when I'm sliding this thing when I'm sliding this bench this way. So, this move this locks the the that cage will actually lock this in place. It just happens to be the exact right size to lock to lock the uh you know what I mean? To lock the bench in place. So, it's kind of cool that it it just happens to be the right size. It wasn't wasn't intentionally the right size, but it is actually the right size to lock the bench in place. So, now I don't have to worry about the bench sliding back. Which is actually how I did get a little bit of cable rub when I first got the device. So, when I first got this thing, I actually got a little bit of cable rub from the bench sliding back and hitting the hitting the rollers from this exact move. Okay, so that's done. Okay. So, now I'll show you what I was talking about with with how he how he how he works out. Or at least how I you know, how in general from the way he's described it that he works out. And it's perfectly acceptable. It's just not the way I prefer to work out. It's not the way I worked out on Tonal. It's not the way I work out on here. But he has an advantage in that if you go into uh all workouts So, he actually built some of the all some of the workouts on these all workout screens. So, some of the workouts actually came from him. Right? And if you're in any of these workouts and any of these all workouts workouts you have the ability to do partner workouts. Um so, if I click on pa pa pa Let's go to recommended. So, of course it recommends Pilates first. Right? Which is pretty funny that that's what That's what [clears throat] it's recommending. But, let's click on power one, right? If I go into power one, I have the ability to actually do partner workouts. Um but you don't have that with custom, which is what I was doing. >> [cough and clears throat] >> You can hear that I'm still a little bit under the weather. But, yeah, so he does a lot of these programs, which then use dynamic weights, but they use dynamic weights based upon um based upon the actual Like they use the They use the same thing, but they use the dynamic weights here, or when he does custom, he instead of So, add custom. So, add movement. So, if we go in here and pick a movement, add. So, this is the screen I wanted to talk about. So, and you might not be able to see that very well, but I will walk you through kind of what's on here. So, um what's on here is you have add new custom at the top, you have basic info, you have preset training, and then you have your actual sets. Um what gets people really confused, and I agree with the Speedy Home Gains on this, so these numbers, so this gain muscle, stamina, strength, and customize, those should be So, these three should actually just be presets that automatically set you to a default parameter, and then you can freely adjust from within there. So, that's what he thinks this should be, and I totally agree with him. So, I wanted to be clear that I actually completely agree with him on his basic premise of You know, and I want to see what's going on with my handles. So, if I go in here and go the power grips, why are neither of my power grips connected? >> [sighs] >> There's one. >> See, why is it doing this? There it goes. That was weirdly buggy. And by the way, I actually had it be buggy like this once before and I went to take a video of it right where my handles weren't connecting properly. I went to take a video and then everything worked perfectly. So, right as I was going to take a video and send it over to uh Speediance support, everything just started working. And it worked for the rest of my workout. So, that's happened once before to to me where the handles just like randomly disconnect and then and then aren't connected the way they are. And I went into that, but that time whenever I went into that setting I click connect, I click connect, I and nothing was working. And finally, I go get my camera, set it all up, get it ready to record. And as I'm go to record, I hit the same set of buttons, everything connected and my whole workout worked. And it's like, that's annoying. You know, and I do see a lot more connection issues with these Speediance devices than I ever did with the Tonal device, except when the batteries die. Because in the Tonal device, when your batteries die, oh boy, does that thing start failing. And it does not it did not warn you at the time. Hopefully, they fix that. I would hope that they fix that now that the the batteries actually when they when they die, you know, it it warns you properly. But inside here, you have these presets. And gain muscle stamina, so I do everything with stamina and I do everything with the training set to the lowest setting. Right? So, I have the training set to 13 reps. Right? So, I'm not actually doing stamina mode, by the way. So, I'm just taking my normal 12 rep cadence and adding one rep. That's all I'm doing, right? And in fact, my working sets for this then become weight RM with the weight RM as low as it can go, which is 15. Right? And this is where Speedy Home Games Games has a real problem with this. And I have a slight problem with it, right? And the reason why I don't have a real problem with this system is because I can do what I want. Where I can do warm-up sets with the weight RM at 20, which then gives me a warm-up set, right? Um so this thing set at 20 gives me a warm-up set. And if I set it down to 15, I get a working set. And I just use stamina for everything, which uh makes no sense logistically because that's not what I'm actually doing. And these these things at the bottom, I should I should be able to set this weight RM to whatever I want. So I should be able to real- realistically, it actually should be minimum Well, let me see actually what gain muscle will do. Give me 1 second. So gain muscle, the weight RM is between 9 and 13, and the training reps are between 8 and 12. Oh, and that's even kind of broken because I had it set to 13 and it left it. Um that's interesting that you can trick it to go outside of its ranges. I didn't realize I wonder if that's a bug that I could actually exploit where I can put things outside of the range of what they want them to be. But the whole idea here is you could set the weight RM to nine and set the reps to 12, and that's going to give you above your one rep max. Um that that's that's what that'll end up doing. So what he's pretty much saying is you should be able to set this one like you should be able to set this to 12 reps with one as your as your as your one So you're giving yourself 12 reps at your one RM, you know, max capacity, which would make no sense logistically cuz you're never going to be able to finish that unless everything is calculated wrong mathematically inside the system. Because you're doing 12 reps at your one rep max, right? Which that then makes that not your one rep max in any way. But, for argument's sake, he believes that these numbers should be completely configurable. Right? And you can see it's already disconnecting my uh disconnecting my handles, right? So, uh apparently whatever they did with this software update makes the handles less stable, which is always fun when that happens. Because these things are fully charged. I made sure they were fully charged before getting this. And that is one thing where this device definitely has some bugs to it. And what's weird is only one of them disconnects, right? Typically. So, if I go in here, let me see where it's at. So, if I'm going in here, well, now it's just sitting there. Well, that's interesting. Yeah, interestingly broken. But, first I wanted to start with uh an apology to Greg Doucette. And then let me see what else I wanted to talk about. Oh, so I wanted to talk about two other major you know, kind of kind of major things. And one has been uh now my clips especially are getting popular enough to get a little bit of internet hate. And uh and I thought these were interesting things to talk about. So, there's been three types so far. And uh one is my personal favorite, to be honest with you. Like that one I actually genuinely enjoy just because you got to remember I do jujitsu and we're brutal to each other, right? So, we're not nice to each other at all about our physiques. And especially me, I tend to insult people about the way they look. You know, like the guys that, you know, the guys that uh, are are closest, right? So, the guys that are closest with me, if they look like trash, I tell them they look like trash, cuz like, you know, not sleeping right, not eating right, right? So, I'll I'll I'll critique them quite a bit on that kind of stuff. But, uh, but my favorite was someone said, "You know, you look like someone who lifted in college and then stopped lifting after that." And, uh, I just thought that was a great insult. You know what I mean? Cuz I was shirtless in the last video. I'm not in peak physical shape, right? So, right now, I'm still 10 lb away from, uh, to from the the the peak of where my physique normally is. And I thought I would be there for this video, but unfortunately, I got the flu again. So, and that derails everything, you know? Whenever I get the flu, I can't cut weight while while having the flu. Uh, it's just not the easy, you know, it's it's just not it's not something I'm willing to do, right? While still trying to keep up with the little kids, while still trying to do everything else I do, it's just not possible to to do that. So, I thought that was an amazing, uh, an amazing one though, cuz that's funny, cuz it kind of is true. I don't have this incredible, like, I went to the Arnold Classic, I could tell you, I didn't even have an incredible physique for the people who were in the audience, let alone the people on stage, right? So, and in fact, the the women's competitors were, you know, more muscular than me in some in some divisions, not in all of them. Um, but like, some of the some of the divisions they they they had more muscle mass than I do. So, that's a fair critique. Now, I did respond to the person and be like, "I I Fair enough, you know, that's that's a good one." But then, I wanted to be like, "Hey, what's your physique, right?" No response to that. They didn't send over their physique, because I'm guessing it's not any better than mine. But, that's a great insult. In terms of ranking insults, that actually kind of made my day. Just realize if you throw an insult like that on one of my on one of my shorts, one I'll read it and two I'll actually enjoy it, right? So, another one was actually uh I think important to discuss only because it's something that I I was afraid of actually um myself until I just lost the weight, right? So, I thought I had a bunch of visceral fat because I have these you know scales and they say that I have pretty high visceral fat, right? So, it's it's not And this guy was saying, "Hey, you have visible visceral fat. You might want to get that looked at." And I can tell you that all goes away. So, on me. I can't say for everyone, but I can tell you if I get lean enough, so if I drop another 10 10-ish pounds right now, it'll all go away and the scale itself will even show that the visceral fat goes down. Like as I What's crazy is as I climb really low to the minimum weight I can get to, the visceral fat is what actually starts coming down. And it doesn't come down like it'll come down one for every 10 lb whenever I'm heavy what at most, but then once I start to get down below 210 lb, it'll start chucking down really rapidly. And and so that person was concerned about my visceral fat. I'm like, "No, no, no. I just I'm just not lean enough." And thankfully I have years of being you know up at 240 and the whole way down at 190 lb-ish. So, I was trying to get to 185 and I couldn't get back there. But you know, I've made it the whole way back down to 190 and I can tell you I get lean enough that visceral fat all goes away. You can't see any you know abdominal fat. And actually there's a famous guy actually Palumbo. They named a whole disease after him, Palumboism, which is a distended gut, right? Which everyone thought was like deadly and he's going to have this the rest of his life. It turns out he just changed his diet, got much leaner, got much smaller, and he doesn't have it at all anymore. It's all gone. Right? And it was really the food volume, the you know, the being bigger than he should be um kind of thing, you know what I mean, that caused that gut distension. So, I'm very thankful that hey, like and I don't know if this would be the case for everyone, but I imagine it would be the case for most people where you just need to get leaner, you know. Uh you know, not medical advice, but if if you think you have visceral fat, your visceral fat numbers on the scale are high, right? And you're still fat, get leaner, you know what I mean? Now, if you're shredded and your visceral fat's through the roof, go to a doctor. But, you know, cuz that's not where I know, but I can tell you if if you have any concerns around visceral fat and you're fat, and it doesn't have to be like morbidly obese fat. I'm talking I'm 15 lbs up and my visceral fat's still pretty freaking high, right? And I drop those 15 lbs and boom, you know, it'll be right down to where it should be. It'll be right down in range for my for my height and size, right? Which is 6 ft tall. So, and I walk around the leanest at 190 right now. And I'll probably be 205 is where I'll be at by the end of summer. And then the third one actually, so I I did have a third internet hate one. And honestly, this one I deleted. So, it's the first ever comment I've ever deleted. And it was just because it was timed uh timed really inappropriately and I didn't know what to say. You know, and I don't want to sound arrogant. Like I don't come on these videos and talk about my achievements, right? Uh if I'm in a job interview, yes, I will be talking about my achievements, but I feel like on here, um you know, I want to talk about these devices. I want to talk all about all the cool gadgets that I have. I want to talk want to apologize to Greg Doucette for for kind of messing up his night, you know what I mean, and interrupting him on his way out of the Arnold. Um you know, I want to do all of these things. I don't want to talk about myself. You know, I talk about having two kids and trying to balance all of this stuff. I think that's really important to talk about, but I don't really want to gloat on what I've done so far in my life and make it all about that. Um I wanted to talk about my weight loss journey. I was really scared to do that video because it's a drug-induced weight loss journey. It's a GLP-1. It's a you know, it was all of these things, right, that made that happen. You know, it's a TRT doctor, GLP-1, you know, it was all kinds of things that made that that weight loss happen. It wasn't just hard work, you know. Actually, a buddy of mine it was like internet hate before any of these things, a buddy of mine uh watched one of the shorts and I I full disclosure, I use Vizard. Uh not sponsored in any way, but I do use them to cut the shorts from my full episodes, and I used to actually watch every one of them a- and before they go out, but it's all things I've said, so I don't know why I would be critical of them, right? And I've decided that I'm not going to watch them until they go out, and then I will watch them so that I can fix any titling and caption errors that it makes because it'll make a lot of titling errors. Um so I will fix those, but I'll fix them as they're live. So if you're one of the first like 10 people to see one of my shorts, I it might you know, it might be messed up title-wise, and I have to fix the title to be more accurate. Um because it auto-generates the titles based upon the content of the the message, but it's not always right. But anyways, Vizard made this one, and it clipped it, and it's clipping the videos, and it clipped the video where uh it clipped the side of the video because I have the the blackboard behind me, and I'm talking into the blackboard, and it clips it to where it uh actually it it's showing all of the the drugs and not the training. So, I'm talking about the training that I did while showing the drugs on the screen, right? Uh of all the drugs that it took to lose all this weight and the exact and everything. I think I actually did have the milligrams of Anavar like the the exact dosages of everything and exactly what I was taking and how I was ramping it up and all of that was on the screen. But, what I'm talking about is the steps that the actual content of it, the lifts, the steps, all of the things that, you know, made it so rapid and made it so quick. And and so, I'm talking about all of this and it uh and my buddy's like, "Really?" Like he's like, "That is actually the most hilarious video you've ever produced." And I'd actually seen that one ahead of time and I'm like, "You know what? I've got to post this, right?" Like even though it's not it's not what I would want the message is what I want, but the the content of what's behind me is not necessarily what I would want. I still think it's important to understand that I was only able to do all of those things because of all of those other things, right? So, I'm only able to do 20,000 steps and you know, and and eat 800 to 1,200 calories a day and all of this cuz I'm on a GLP Oh, and strength train 20 to 40,000 lbs per day. Like I was only able to do that. I can't do that now. I can't do 20,000 steps plus you know, plus like I can't do that now, right? Because I'm not on the Anavar. I'm not on Well, I am back on the GLP-1 temporarily, but I'm usually not on the GLP-1. You know, I'm not you know, to try to drop the weight, but I I I got off of it whenever I got sick because there's no point in taking a GLP-1 when you're not going to be able to lose any weight cuz you're completely stuffed up and you can't do all the other things you want to do. Um you know, the running that I was doing, that kind of stuff. But it just you You it was one of those things where it's like really, Toby? And I'm like, well, you know, it's it's there. But yes, that one that one that's that was one of the original internet hate ones, but I'm like you know, it's pretty accurate. Like I was only able to do all that stuff because I was doing all this other stuff, right? So, um you know, I'm not I'm not in my 20s anymore. So, I would have been able to do that in my 20s >> [laughter] >> without without the medications, right? Um I'm pretty confident in my 20s I had the ability to do that. But you know, I had I had low testosterone to begin with, so like I had an actual low testosterone to begin with uh before going on TRT. So, like I didn't in my 20s have low testosterone. So, you know, it was one of those things where this would have been possible in my 20s, not so possible now. Uh but the the the last internet hate one is honestly one that was actually the original premise for making this entire video, but I wanted to apologize to Greg first. And the last one is who would ever want to listen to you? And it was actually a big fear of putting any of my content out to begin with. And um and you know, if I had been in a good mood, I may have replied to him with well, here's here's the list of reasons to listen to me. Also, it was someone who had uh 16 followers, uh skinny glasses, I think like a Lambo or something in the background of his like he has his own YouTube channel and it's not successful and not popular. Not to be mean to the guy, but like uh because he's trying to be an influencer clearly and is like this rail skinny dude with like in his 20s that, you know, probably rented a Lambo in order to to make the video, right? And it's just like to be able to, you know, make that picture or whatever and it it's like you You I don't have to flaunt flaunt my wealth or anything like that. I mean, I bought this Speediance 2S, I bought the the original Speediance downstairs. I have my own AI inference stuff that I'm setting up and building. Um I've been pretty successful in my career, but that's not really what the channel's about. Uh I got very lucky out of college and I was able to build a top 10 app. Uh big thank you to AccuWeather, by the way. Like, that would have never been possible had they not just you know, hired a kid out of Uh my my boss I still remember my boss at AccuWeather. He wanted a senior .NET developer and he got a junior VB developer. Right? Because I had a 3.8 GPA in college. I graduated in 3 years with a bachelor's degree. Um it was hard for AccuWeather to pass up that resume of what I was capable of doing. And and also the salary was low, you know? It was pretty low. But, you know, for me I'm from the area. Uh so, I'm from about an hour away from State College where AccuWeather was headquartered. And so, for me to be able to work close to home and and that kind of thing and in my first job was was pretty huge. And then they just gave me the opportunity to build their iPhone app. Um because they didn't have someone, right? And so, I got lucky. I got number two in the App Store at one point in time with with uh So, I say top 10, but realize it was number two at one point in time while I was building the thing. Uh and that kind of jump-started my career from there. But, I don't really talk about that on the channel, right? Uh but that's that's where the technology comes from, right? That's where like the Project Aria, where I'm going out and I'm I'm integrating with the Speediance and the Garmin and the Whoop and putting all that data together that you saw in some of my videos. That's where all that comes from. I I am a computer programmer by trade. Um and and and I'm trying to learn the next generation of these tools and technologies because that job in the way it was before is is not going to be around much longer. Um I have high hopes that because what I what I what I realize is humans are going to be around a lot longer than we think in in these positions doing these kind this kind of work in my opinion. But it's not going to be because I'm a good programmer because eventually AI models are going to be better than me at that. Um and it's not going to be because of any particular skill it's because of the skill sets in aggregate. So um So a great example is at AccuWeather like there wasn't policies and procedures for testing of of things that we were building. So you know, and I was building the first iPhone app. So what I did is I went around to basically everyone in the company who had an iPhone, right? Which was few and far between to be honest with you, but it was enough to get a testing group together, put together my own testing group and launched the the app to them and then took their feedback and fixed things, right? So uh just simple things like that like I was given the authority and the autonomy to to to build something I think pretty great and um I'm really happy, you know, with with with what I'd built then and some of the stuff that I've built after that, but uh just realized that it's you know, it's you know, I'm a lot older than this guy who was critiquing me, right? You know, I've I've been around a lot longer and it's like who would ever want to listen to you and it's like I don't know, you know what I mean? Um You know, what's funny is my fear was not around having zero subscribers, right? Which is crazy like I would have been quite content with with you know, going out to an audience of very very few, you know what I mean? Um an audience honestly of just Adrian insulting my [laughter] my my one video where is you know, that would have been good enough for me to continue, right? Um But I'm very thankful for by the way, everyone watching, everyone listening. Um I I I I mean, it's grown to be a lot bigger than you know, and I think that's where that hate in particular came from, right? This channel is going to be way bigger than I ever thought possible. And I just owe it to the Speediance community, to the the fitness technology community for giving me this opportunity and this platform to talk about these things that I love. Um and I'm going to continue to do that. And I think the next piece of content is going to be specifically around that Fitbit Titan. And boy, I'm tempted to pull the trigger on buying it so that I can put it next to these devices and really show whether it's better or worse. Um but I don't think my wife's going to I don't think that's going to fly with my wife right now. So, uh this year's taxes were pretty brutal. Uh I'll just leave it at that. I I was an Nvidia investor Well, I'm still an Nvidia investor. But, um I pulled some off the table. And uh you can imagine what that looks like numbers-wise, right? If you're an Nvidia investor. So, I'd been an investor in them for quite a while. And uh I'm still a big believer in them. So, it's not like I exited the position or anything like that, but I trimmed it down so that it's not 100% of my portfolio. Um Oh, I also do investing stuff. I I don't like to talk about that, right? Um you know, and and, you know, my channel's not about that, right? You know what I mean? It's just not the core core of my uh of where I want to go with things, but I only invest in companies that I either believe in uh you know, I either believe in or have some sort of knowledge around them. Um I abandoned years ago. Uh I I I abandoned S&P 500, and I abandoned uh I abandoned, you know, buying anything that doesn't have great fundamentals, right? So, if the fundamentals behind the company are trash, I'm not going to buy it even though I love the company. Um my first investment was the International Fight League, which by the way went to zero. Went to zero. So, um, and my my mom was hugely critical of that, and my mom and I aren't exactly on the best of terms, and I'll just say what I said to her, you know, because I've obviously been investing since then, and it was like mistake after mistake after mistake with the International Fight League. I knew they weren't making money. I knew they weren't capable of making money. I knew they had leadership issues in terms of like not in terms of like great fighters. They had great fighters, but they were paying them exorbitant They were paying their leadership team exorbitant amounts of money while not having a financial stable backing, and they were tied to TV deals that could go away tomorrow. So, like I knew all of the problems, and I still decided to take borrowed money and and put that into the International Fight League because I didn't need it for my schooling. I think I think that's I paid it all back, so I think it's okay to talk about now. But yes, I took borrowed money and and put it into the International Fight League. And, um, and my mom's been critical of that all of these years since then. And, you know, finally I broke down one time my mom was insulting me because I I do individual stock investing, right? And I I'm a big believer in investing in whatever way you want S&P 500 if you want to like set it and forget it. Individual investing if you really believe in specific companies and really want to do the work and do diligence to make sure they're financially solvent, to make sure that they're on a good platform, that they're not overvalued at the current time. I do think Nvidia is slightly overvalued. Um, or could be undervalued. I could be totally wrong, but like that's why I sold some, um, just to protect the nest egg kind of thing. But either way, you know, my mom was hugely critical, and my mom was a lunch lady. Right? So, like I don't come from a rich background. I don't come from money. I don't come from any of that, right? My dad was a factory worker. My mom was a lunch lady. So, and I've made it pretty pretty good for myself, you know? So, you can't say that, you know, wealth is all inherited and da da da da da that you hear. Uh that's just not true and and I've been pretty successful throughout my career. Um and I didn't have and I think part of it was that I didn't have a safety net to fall back on. Right? There was no There's There's no falling back. Like you have to you have to be successful. Right? You You don't have like parents who can just bail you out with infinite amounts of money. I mean, they will help me as best they can, you know? But like you know, I didn't have you know, I didn't have that kind of background. So, I actually think it's a benefit, right? As long as you have the mentality of I have to be successful. Um but yes, um long long story short, you know, she she was critiquing me for this and she'd been doing it for years. Finally, I snapped and I was like, I made more money last year in in my investment portfolio than you made in your entire career. Like you take all of the sum of all of the money you made in your entire career working and you take my investment portfolio and I made more money in one year. You know what I mean? And that's just it's a freak year where you know what I mean? That's not like typical, right? And it's not going to be typical, you know, I'm sure this year or any other year, but that year it just happened to be the case that that was that was a reality. I mean, Nvidia soared to new highs and I had a lot of companies that were were hitting all-time highs because I'm technology focused. Um but you know, you know, that was one of those where it was like I'm I finally ended that conversation, right? Because uh and and by the way, I wish I had known more about investing earlier. So, I guess who would ever want to listen to you? I I don't know, but um I'm just thankful that people do, you know, and I'm thankful to be able to get this message out there. I'm thankful to be able to talk about, you know, fitness trackers. And speaking of that, there was one other thing that I wanted to talk about, and that's the accuracy of fitness trackers because this is one where I I I got into a huge uh argument on the internet. So, I actually got into a pretty large argument about the accuracy. So, right now I have the Garmin on, which is not normally on while I'm lifting, but I have the Garmin and the Whoop on. And they were trying to claim that all of these fitness trackers are worthless because they're not perfect. And my favorite thing is they clearly use Chat GPT to get the references, and said, "What are references that show that fitness trackers are inaccurate, right?" And they put these references, and and I'm one of those, you know, jerks who actually read your references. You know what I mean? And read not just the abstract where because by the way, what Chat GPT did is it read the abstract and then applied that and then gave them those links. Well, what Chat GPT didn't do, by the way, because it's lazy and and like unless you prompt it specifically to do a deep dive into this article, it won't read the whole article. And it didn't read the conclusion of the article, which is even more hilarious. Like, it didn't read the most important part because the conclusion in both of these articles is these things are wildly accurate. And even the aggregate, so the argument of one of the papers is that the aggregate content is not similar. And that is accurate. If I take the Garmin and I take the Whoop and I compare the body battery on my Garmin, so right now my body battery is at 19%. What does that mean? I'm sick, by the way. I've done no working out today. That was my only workout, and I'm at 19% body battery. Yeah, I'm sick, right? I've I've got a flu. I'm coughing up phlegm. I'm My nose is, you know, completely clogged most of the day. Yes, I'm sick, right? So, the body battery is at 19. And that's without training, right? Which is atypical. That thing should go back up to 100% very quickly if I'm not training. The Whoop doesn't have a body battery. It has So, a Whoop score, right? And I wish I The phone unfortunately the phone that's recording is the one that has my Whoop score and I don't remember what it was for today, but I can tell you it's going to be low, right? Because again, I'm sick, right? But these measurements can be wildly different. So, you can get a body battery that's that's totally not even close to what your Whoop score was. But what But what it does do is it tells you the body battery is telling you in real time how much physiological stress you've exerted on yourself and where you're at in the percentage of your maximum capacity, right? And so, the Whoop score in the morning and the body battery should actually be relatively close-ish, but not not necessarily because you can have a high a really high Whoop score because HRV is a huge calculator in that and not straining stress. So, every now and then you will get a you'll get 100% Whoop score, but your body battery will be at 50. You're thinking, well, where where is these calculations mathematically very different? Well, the Whoop score is saying that you've actually recovered from all of your training and you can do another hard training session today. The body battery is still saying, hey, no, no, no, you've had all these hard training sessions and it's calculating it differently, right? And in fact, if you look at body battery at the end of the day versus the Whoop score, they're going to be wildly wildly different. The Whoop the Whoop morning score, like the recovery score, right? Is the one I'm talking about specifically. Now, what's funny is if you take your strain score and your recovery score and kind of like calculate them together, your body battery at the end of the day should kind of match that. So, if your strain was really really high, your recovery was really really low, right? Your body battery should be almost zero. Right? So, like you can actually analogous this at the end of the day by taking the two Whoop numbers and putting them together, but at the beginning of the day the numbers are going to be very far apart is what I'm getting at. The recovery score and the the body battery. Um and I wanted to take that and take the eight sleep data, put it all together, and make it meaningful, right? Um because they're all aggregate measures, but they're all slightly different aggregate measures, and I also have the raw data, too. So, I can take the raw data versus the aggregate measures, come up with my own aggregate measure that is more accurate to what I feel day-to-day. Um and go that route, right? So, this person was trying to say, "Oh, no, no, no. They're all useless because they're not all not 100% accurate." First of all, I was in the hospital with AFib years ago, and I'd probably be dead right now had I not worn a Whoop. Like there's a reason why I still pay this freaking subscription, right? Because um my wife has the Amazfit. Um there's now the Fitbit um that is is looking like they finally have a Fitbit that you can wear on your you can wear on your wrist. Um there's also one other one on the Polar, I think. The Polar Polar Loop. But basically, all of these people are coming out with Whoop competitors, and I haven't moved over. And that's because uh I So, years ago, and I I don't know if I've talked about this, but years ago during the co- I did Yeah, I did talk about it because I I made some uh innuendos around COVID, right? Um so, during the COVID era, um after getting the second vaccine, uh, I'm sure completely unrelated and according to the doctors in the hospital, completely unrelated, uh, you know, totally coincidental, right? Um, I over the night, my Whoop registered that I ran a half marathon. At the time I was running half marathons and I was supposed to be training for another one and I can tell you in the lead up to this training, everything was going horribly wrong. I got the shingles. This is stuff that I didn't discuss before, but like I got the shingles. Uh, I just had so much stress going on in my life at that point in time. Uh, and obviously I'm a lot less stressed now. We've We've fixed everything. We've moved. There There's been a a bunch of changes in our lives. Um, but I had the most stress I've ever been under and then I was also trying to train for a half marathon, right? Um, and now I pull back, by the way. Like if if like I'm sick, right now, I'm not running, right? Um, I keep thinking about it, but I'm like, we're going to get over this first and then we're going to go back to our running schedule. And that's because uh, I ended up hospitalized with AFib, but the Whoop told me that I ran a half marathon in my sleep and I thought it was broken. So, I thought it was completely broken. I thought it was absolutely like I thought the device was broken and I go to do my lifts in the morning. So, I used to have a routine of uh, I had an hour drive to the gym. So, I had a routine. By the way, people who say they don't have time to to train or work out, like realize I had an hour drive to the gym and then I had, you know, I was on the road for like 4 hours. It was horrible. But anyways, um, long story short, uh, I you know, I I looked at the Whoop. It said that I ran a half marathon. I went to go do my strength training, which I had to do before going in to the gym. So, that was the only time of the day I had to do it, right? So, I could wake up at 3:00 and start of training and so that's what I would do. I'd wake up and then start the strength training. And I went to start it and I went to stand up after one of the seated lifts and I almost fell over. Like I almost passed out. And uh and I'm like, "Wow, that's not normal. I'm really, really dizzy. Uh I don't know what's going on." And and um I looked out at my you know, I look at the Whoop real-time thing and it it shows my heart rate at 160. And I'm like, "I have never registered a 160 from strength training at ever. I mean, I'm just doing warm-up sets." Right? I was just doing warm-up sets. I'm like, "This should not register this kind of load." And so I ended up sitting down and and checking it, >> [laughter] >> you know, checking it again and then touching my heart and realized, "No, my heart's pounding out of my chest." Um and I'm like, "Well, I guess we're not going into jiu-jitsu." Right? I'm like, "I'm sure this is fine. This is I don't know what's going on, but um you know, I'm just going to work and you know, we'll figure it out later. So I'll just you know, I'll just start my work now instead of going into jiu-jitsu and we'll figure this out, you know, later." Um and anyways, I end up calling the local doctors and I'm very thankful to the local doctors where I used to live because I I described what was happening and they're like, "We have an appointment right now." Normally, it's like a 2-3 day wait. And I just called them casually and I'm like, "Oh, yeah, my heart's kind of elevated." And they're like, "How elevated?" I'm like, "Uh 120 to 160 according to my Whoop, but I thought it was inaccurate, but then I touched my chest." You know, I explained everything that I just explained here. And uh they're like, "We have an appointment right now." And sure enough right to the hospital I went and uh And by the way, this is where I I kind of don't trust the medical system in a lot of ways um because for 6 months I'd been in and out of doctors and they told me I was crazy and it was all my head. So because I would have stomach issues, like really bad stomach pain. And so they did like $20,000 worth of tests on my stomach. They found nothing, right? Uh and I would get this massive stomach pain. I had the shingles out of nowhere. Like I had all of these weird things happening to me. Um and and like it's indescribable pain and agony, right? Well, I finally found out what was happening. Uh and so I have a heart valve that can actually like stick shut, basically. And uh so and that's what happened, right? It stuck shut and all of a sudden my threw me into AFib. So I don't have AFib, right? So like day-to-day, if you give me one of these, like the Whoop has the AFib test, it's dumb. It doesn't work at all uh for my case because I don't have AFib, right? It clears me every time. Um however, if that valve gets stuck shut, I go immediately into AFib. Right? And then my heart rate skyrockets, right? Because it's trying to pump with a valve that's that's closed. Um and they thought about doing emergency surgery, but it actually cleared. Long story short, it cleared overnight and uh I'm fine now. Uh and actually they they suggested that I do more Jiu Jitsu training, which is pretty funny because uh they saw my situation and they saw like what caused me to be there and it was mostly stress induced from like a myriad of factors. Work was very stressful at the time. Life was very stressful. And they're like, "The only thing that you have that's not stressful, believe it or not, is your Jiu Jitsu training because I treat it like it's fun, right? It's not It's not something that is a job to me. It's something that I enjoy and is very, very fun. Uh and I don't you know, I treat it like you know, not just like a hobby, but also one that one that I, you know, I entertained by and really proud of the people around me when they do well. We had someone win their first competition a couple weekends ago and I'm really happy for them. I was watching their videos from their competition and it's the best I've ever looked by a lot blue belt and honestly ready for the purple belt based upon that competition and the domination in there. So, you know, some stuff I would some stuff I would change, right? In the way they approached the match in a couple things like a couple things both me and my coach pointed out that like you know what I mean? Would have would have made you know, would have made things easier for them, right? But, you know, pretty flawless performance, you know, in terms of other than the other than the the first attempt at a takedown where they they tried the they tried a very simple sit-down sweep and and they they pulled I think they pulled like bottom side control, right? Which is like the but they reversed out of it and got it was fine, but they they missed the they missed a foot on the the foot sweep and just you know, it was it was a comical, you know, takedown. Not something I've ever done in a match, but definitely something I've done in training a lot is pull bottom side control. Like that's, you know, I I have a habit now of instead of going for that sweep if I think I there's any chance of missing that sweep where I'm going and I'm putting my leg underneath if I realize that I'm going to miss the leg, I throw my leg up in the air and just kind of hit you in the side and throw you like try to throw you over that way or at least prevent you from taking side control, but that's like a reaction time thing and you have to realize as you're falling like, "Hey, I'm about to miss this." and and kind of have a a B game plan, but yeah, that that was uh the the fitness trackers thing though, I think they're hugely valuable. I I don't think I don't think you should throw the baby out with the bathwater on these things and say, "Hey, they're not perfect." And I agree, none of them are perfect. And even Aria's conclusions on how how like what I should be doing are not perfect. I still have to figure out I still have to figure out a route algorithm around being sick. Right? Cuz this is the third time I've had this flu in a year where I'm coughing up phlegm. And I have to figure out like what to do in this situation and how hard should I train. Uh and that's where I actually have a doctor's appointment this week, and I'm going to ask all of these questions of of a doctor that I trust. Um just because I don't I don't have a great answer, right? You know, that's not my area of expertise. Uh I can tell you running makes makes me a lot sicker a lot quicker. Um strength training seems to do almost nothing as long as it's low intensity. Uh but high intensity strength training has the same effect of coughing up more phlegm the next day. Uh but yeah, that's that's what I wanted to talk to you about today. I wanted to go over some some stuff that's come in to me, uh show off a little bit of lifting, and uh thank you for your time, and this has been Toby.
