My initial reaction
In the September 2025 clip and transcript, I discuss choosing between a discounted original Speediance and the Gym Monster 2S. I say I thought the premium was worth it, despite initially expecting the new machine to be loud, feel too light and end up returned.
The prices I mentioned were $2,400–$2,600 for the original and almost double for the newer machine. Those are historical remarks from that clip, not current offers or a comparison of today’s complete bundles.
What the clip does not test
This is a short buying reaction. It does not contain a measured noise test, a months-long ownership timeline, or a delivery-and-return story. Those would need separate evidence. My expectations before using a machine are different from a documented measurement of its performance.
